Terms and Conditions

  1. Bookings are only confirmed when your deposit is received. Your deposit will be returned if your choices are fully booked.
  2. The balance of payment is due one week before the trek begins. If the fee is not received by that date the reservation will be cancelled.
  3. 50% of the total fee will be forfeited if cancellation is made up to one week before the beginning of the trek. There will be no refund after that time.
  4. You are recommended to take out Personal Holiday Insurance Cover for cancellation, personal accidents and loss of possessions. Scot-Trek cannot accept responsibility for any injury, loss or damage.
  5. Scot-Trek reserves the right to cancel any holiday. In such an event, a full refund will be made.
  6. If you, or any member of your group, suffer from any major or relevant medical condition, please inform us of the details.

Remoteness Awareness

Walkers should be aware that the remoteness which makes so many of our treks particularly special can pose a problem when bad weather intervenes. Cancelled ferries can lead to island trips being abandoned and even to being forced to spend an extra day or so on an island. This has happened only twice in 15 years, but it is something to consider when making your preparations.

Cheques

Cheques should be made payable to Scot-Trek
