Evening Walks Begin Tuesday April 9th

Our new season of evening walks begins in a few days. Not have the time, or the energy to spend a day walking? Then come along on Tuesday at 6 pm for a short Evening walk. We visit Loch Lomond, the Falls of Clyde, Bothwell Woods and many other local beauty spots. Full details in the Day Walks page.

Navigation Courses 2013

Tuesday 22nd January 2013
We have two Navigation Courses organised for 2013. These are one day courses based in Loch Lomond National Park near Balloch. The courses explain the basics of navigation using compasses, maps and common sense. Lots of fun, no stress and not too much theory. They show you how to plan and follow routes and navigate around the countryside and hills. Price is £40.

West Highland Way Day by Day

Our 2013 walk along the West Highland Way, completing one day section a month, is here again. It's always the most popular walk in the Day Walk Programme so please try and book early if you want a place on it.

Each day section costs £19 . The Weekend section, staying at a very comfortable guest house in Kinlochleven for one night, costs £75. If you book for the complete programme the price is reduced. An email or paper brochure for the whole programme is available so just ask for a copy if you are interested.

Short Munro Weekends 2013

Friday 20th January 2012
This summer we offer four short weekends to let you reach hills not easily climbed in a day from our base in Glasgow.

We leave about 5 pm on Saturday evening and travel up to our hotel/B+B for an early start on Sunday morning. We return to Glasgow on Sunday evening.

Those trips planned so far are:
1. Sat 29th -Sun 30th June: Ben Nevis
2. Sat 3rd - Sun 4th August: Beinn a Ghlo massif
3. Sat 19th - Sun 20th October: Glenshee Munros
4. Sat 2nd - Sun 3rd November: Drumochter Munros

Spaces will be limited so book early if you are interested. We hope to add another short weekend to this listing so please check later this Spring.

Gail's New Cookbook Now Available
