About Scot-Trek
Scot-Trek provides experienced guides, accommodation, route planning, transport and the ferrying of luggage. All you have to do is enjoy the walking, the beautiful scenery and the good company. Scot-Trek offers a full range of walks and holidays throughout Scotland. Our programme covers every area of the country from the Borders to the Far North and the Hebridean islands.

We are now into our 11th year. 1000 people have been taken across the West Highland Way and over 14,000 walkers have joined us on a trek. We average 150 trek each year. Some people have been walking with us for more than 10 years.
But Scot-Trek is not about numbers.
Our guides all have many years of experience of walking in Scotland. We are proud of our country, its magnificent landscape and its fascinating history. We enjoy helping people discover the special areas of Scotland. We hope you can join us and share our enjoyment. To help with that every walk starts and/or ends at a country inn or tearoom.
Don't worry if you want to come by yourself on a trek. Most of our walkers do come along on their own but then make friends and come back again. Scot-Trek makes walking in Scotland convenient, safe and fun.

Day Walks
For 12 months of the year we provide a scheduled programme of walks which cover every grade of trek all over the country. Some will suit complete beginners, some will be right for the more experienced. Over 30 new walks enter our schedule this year.
Some examples of the 2005 Day Walks programme are:
Sauchie Crags, Buachaille Etive Mor, Pentland Hills, Ben Cruachan, Dunkeld and Loch of Lowes, Ben Lui, Earthquake House, Aberlady and Gullane, and Ben Lawers

Walking Holidays
Twenty three holidays are scheduled for 2005. These include old favourites such as Knoydart, Rum, Islay + Jura and the West Highland Way. Then there are new treks to the St Cuthbert's Way, Tiree, Skye + Raasay, Glen Affric and the Far North Munros.
We take you to some of the most remote and special areas of Scotland where you can see rare wildlife and spectacular scenery. We stay in very comfortable, friendly hotels and B&Bs and when the day's walking is over we take you to some exceptionally good places to eat. Nowadays you cannot beat the Highlands of Scotland for fresh local produce superbly cooked. Whisky enthusiasts will be in their element. And if you are retail-minded we often have the chance to stop at local craft centres, smoke houses, potteries, woollen mills ... if it exists, Gail will find it!
These holidays are a great way to get away from it all and spend time in some beautiful and dramatic corners of Scotland. Join us if you can and enjoy good company, good accommodation and good food.
Don't forget there also are Charity Walk holidays you can book for and help a good cause.

Charity Walks
We have organised over 120 charity walks raising many thousands of pounds for local charities. You decide which charity you want to support and we will help you get in touch with them and organise the event on you and their behalf.
Hopefully you can find something that suits you in our Day, Holiday or Charity Walks. If not why don't you consider a...
Group Booking or a Self-led Walk
We can organise and lead a customised walk for a group of six or more. As long as it can be fitted into our schedule we will try and create a trek to your specifications. We normally organise about 20-25 of those each year for social and work groups... or even large families.

Another option is that we can plan the logistics of a trek - providing route maps, booking accommodation and organising transport - and leave you to do the walking yourself. This way you can concentrate on the good part - the walking - and let someone else look after the boring organisation!
Happy Scot-Trekking!
